This is the first post of my makeup collection series. Today I'm going to bestowing you my face products so that's primers, foundations and concealers. I will talk ore in depth than my overview post so it may be a bit long. All reviews i have done on products mentioned will be linked at the bottom of the post as well as my older makeup collection.
Primers
Firstly, primers. I have the Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer twice because I keep repurchasing this. I really like it, it is very moisturising and thick but drys fast and really does help my makeup last.
Then I also have Benefit's The PoreFessional in a full size and mini version. This is my favourite primer. I have big pores but this always makes a great base for a flawless face (Didn't mean for that to rhyme). It is very expensive though so I also have Maybellines Baby Skin but I really don't think it can compare. It feels quite greasy on my skin which I hate but other than that it is ok and I will use it up but don't think I'll repurchase it.
I also have a mini Fresh Minerals Primer which I got in a kit. This is terrible. It has such a funny teture and is visible on the skin as it kind of flakes as you rub it in. I really don't like it. The last primer I have is from Garnier and is for your eyes to put underneath concealer. It has a slight sparkle which is nice for brightening the eye area. I also have MACs Fix Plus.
Foundations
I have a few foundations because I struggle to find some that I love due to me being so picky with them. Firstly from Maybelline, I have the
Then from Rimmel I have the Match Perfection. I do like this for more coverage and it is probably my favourite higher coverage foundation. It is super affordable too. I also have the Stay Matte Foundation from Rimmel which I don't love. It is overly matte making it look cakey if you don't apply it correctly. It would be good for photographs though.
From Chanel I have the Vitalumiere Aqua which I love, I have recently discovered that I love water based foundations because they are light and natural. I also bought MACs Face and body which is water based. These two are probably my favourites. They may be pricey, but i do find them to be worth it.
I also have the Healhty Mix Serum from Bourjois which I really like. It is quite light and natural and smells like strawberries. This is my favourite overall drugstore foundation.
Finally, I have L'Oreal's BB Cream. This adapts to your skin tone so it applies grey. I'm not overly sure about this concept because I don't love the fact that it applies grey but it's ok.
Concealers
Firstly I have three of Collection's Lasting Perfection. I have two in fair 01 but thats a little too light and I have the shade deep 04 so I just mix a bit of that in. I love this concealer. It is better than some high-end concealers and is only £4.19.
Next I have Maybellines Cover Stick in Green to counteract redness. I also have it in flesh tone but thats in one of my handbags. Next to that I have Stila's Cover Up Stick which I don't like.
I then have Maybellines Age Rewind which I love so much. I have repurchased it so many times and i just think its so good.
I then have NYX's Full Coverage Concealer which doesn't work great with the dry patches on my combination skin but its alright. I also have small Benefit Bo-oing and Eyebright which I depotted from a kit.
Those are all of my face products!
