Nail Polish Collection

I have alot of nail polishes but it's because my sister used to be a beautician and she gave me alot of her old OPI, Orly and Jessica polishes when she sold her salon.

Barry M nail polishes are my favourite. Especially the Gelly ones. I find them to be great quality and I have them in the shades: watermelon, blue grape, green berry, plum and Christmas tree.

Essie is another great brand. These are the colours clambake, fashion playground and bikini so teeny.

Jessica polishes are good quality but these need a good shake as I haven't used them in a while. I love the sparkly black shade.

Reckon parfumerie polishes are scented polishes and the ginger melon one smells amazing. I can't describe the scent but it's lovely. I also like the surf spray sparkly blue colour.

These Topshop colours are lovely pastel shades and are the colours boy next door and flying saucer. The problem with these is that they are quite opaque so you have to put more than two coats on.

These Ciaté polishes are quite new to my collection. I have two full sized ones and then seven minis. The pastels shown in the photo as well as a red and glitter one. I also have a few top coats.

These are magnetic polishes which create a really cool pattern on your nail when you hold the magnet over them. They are from Sally Hansen.

I have 5 full sized OPI polishes, most are similar red/pink shades and then I have a purple and a gold/orange colour.

I have two of these Cynthia Rowley polishes but I'm not sure I've ever used them.

I have three from Maybellines.

These are my OPI minis, I have lots of orange, reds and pinks and then a few others. These are great polishes and I've often bought them in sets.

The pink/coral Orly nail polish was my favourite for a while.

I have four from Color Club.

I have three from Bourjois.

These are some of the other polishes i have although I don't use them much.

London: Top 10 Sees

London is such an amazing city. Whether you live there or just visit as a tourist, there is so much to do and see. These are my top 10 things to do/see in London.

1. London Eye
I was so scared to go on this as I hate heights, my best friend and I got forced to go on and I have to say it is such a great experience. If you don't like heights, the pods are so big and you're so focused on looking out at the beautiful city that you don't notice the height. I can't wait to go on it again.

2. Madame Tussards
This is really interesting as it is a waxwork museum of celebrities. Some celebrities are very realistic and you can walk up and have photos with all of them. There are also several shows and rides.

3. Buckingham Palace
This is a touristic thing to see. If it was my first time visiting London I would definitely plan a trip here but if you've seen it before I don't find it as exciting.

4. Covent Garden
This is lovely little square with shops. At Christmas at night it is especially pretty. In the dark, the Christmas lights and music is so magical.

5. Hyde Park
During winter, this is lovely. It has "Winter Wonderland" which is a great family place to visit.

6. Tower of London
Again this is a tourist attraction but it's great for history lovers. I've been and I'm not particularly into history but this was fun. I probably wouldn't go again though.

7. Selfridges
This and Harrods are typically the bags that you'll see people carrying. It is one of my favourite things to do in London because Selfridges has such a wide selection of different products from food to clothing to makeup to stationary.. Everything.

8. Double Decker Red Bus Tour
To see all the sites, the double decker red buses or river tours are perfect. I personally prefer the open top red bus tour and I think that it's a must-do in London.

9. Underground/Taxi
My trip to London isn't complete without having used the Underground or a black taxi!

10. Goodmans Restaurant
As far as places to eat goes, Goodmans does the best steaks. Since it's near the centre of London, it's pricey but it's worth it. I love the meals there.

MAC Cremeblend Brush Review

A while ago, I purchased MAC's cremeblend blush in Ladyblush after reading lots of good reviews on it. Since then, I have worn it pretty much everytime I wear makeup. For Christmas I received another cream blush in the shade Something Special. Since I've been using these for a while now, I decided it was time for a review.

These blushes have great staying power, I put it on in the morning using a stippling brush and it lasts all morning. I think using your fingers to apply this is a more difficult way as it tends to not blend out as well or look too heavy so I opt for a stippling brush instead.

The colour Ladyblush is a super natural flush to the cheek. I like wearing this when I'm going for more of a natural , no-makeup makeup look as it looks so natural. Something Special is more of a peachy, pink and is much more noticeable. I use that for more of a dramatic makeup look.

These products last a while considering I bought my first one mid-last year and it doesn't look used very much yet. They retail at £18 which seems a lot but I will definetly be purchasing more in the future.

Cheese Scones Recipe

I love making cheese scones and after slightly tweaking a recipe I found in one of my Mum's old cookbooks, I decided to share the recipe with you.

Ingredients:
• 8oz Self-raising flour
• 185ml milk
• 4oz Mature Cheddar Cheese
• Pinch of Salt
• 1oz Butter

1. Preheat the oven to 210C.

2. In a large mixing bowl, mix your flour and crumble your butter with it using your fingertips until the mixed flour and butter look like breadcrumbs. Add a pinch of salt.

3. Now make a well in the centre and add your milk, leave a small amount of milk for glazing the top of the scones later on.

4. Using a flat-bladed knife, mix the milk in with the flour and butter.

5. Add your mature cheddar cheese. At the point the mixture should be extremely sticky but this is right.

6. Now using some flour and a rolling pin, roll out your mixture. It's up to you how thick you want them to be but since we used self-raising flour they will naturally rise in the oven.
*tip* I find that making them thinner tastes better personally.

7. Using a round cutter, cut your scones out and put them on a greased baking tray.

8. Now that you have cut all of your scones, glaze the scones with the milk you left from earlier using a pastry brush.

9. Now I like to add cheese to the tops of the scones.
*tip* I find that even though we put a lot of cheese in the scones, they lose their taste when baked. The more cheese they have on the top, the cheesier and better they tend to taste.

10. Bake your scones for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Keep checking them.
*tip* They tend to taste better browner.

11. Now your scones are ready to eat!

Favourite Perfumes

I am a major perfume hoarder, I buy way too many so narrowing down my five favourites was difficult but these are the ones I chose...

1. Victoria's Secret Amber Romance Body Mist
This is a body spray rather than a perfume. It has more of a vanilla scent as apposed to floral and I wear it everyday, I just love it. Also it's great as the bottle holds a lot of product but it's still relatively inexpensive and affordable.

2. Giorgio Armani Emporio She
This is quite a different scent and it reminds me more of a men's cologne. It isn't as floral, fruity or vanilla as most women's perfumes. It smells more edgy. It's difficult to describe a scent but it is more of a manly smell whilst still being a women's perfume.

3. The Body Shop Indian Night Jasmine
This perfume I got after my best friends recommendation. The only way to describe it is to say it smells like holiday. I can't put my finger on what it is but it kind of smells like a suncream but in a really good way. I love it and it makes me think of my holidays.

4. British Spears Fantasy
This is a very vanilla smelling perfume. It is lovely and most people love it, I've seen lots of girls use it. I also have the Midnight Fantasy one which is more fruity. I love that one too but I prefer this one.

5. Dolce and Gabana The One
This is such a great perfume and it's the only one that I am guaranteed to get a compliment with. Every single time I wear it, somebody asks me what I'm wearing. I love this one.

Sleek Au Naturel Palette Review

I received this Sleek palette from my best friend for Christmas. It is my first product from Sleek and I really like it so I wanted to review it today.

I really like the packaging of this product. It is simple black with Sleek written on the front. The quality of the packaging is very good with it being hard-wearing.

As you can see this palette has a very large mirror which I find perfect for travel as you can do all your makeup in this mirror.

There are a mixture of mattes and glitter colours in this palette and they are very pigmented. I find it is easy to get a variety of different looks with these 12 shades. My personal favourite look is a very natural one using the colour Honeycomb all over the lid and working Toast into the crease.

A few of the colours on these swatches don't show very well but they are better on the lid. This is available at most drugstores in the UK and is £7.99 which I find a great  price for the amount of shadows and quality.

What's In My Bag? 2015

I purchased this new bag in London in December because I was in need of a slightly bigger hangbag than my previous ones.

This one I got from Topshop for £40 and it is a lovely mink colour which is great as it matches both black themes outfits and brown themes outfits.

Opening the bag, it is mainly just one big pocket although there is a small zip where I keep tablets and plasters, then there is also a little pocket which is perfect for dropping my phone in.

The first things I have are a small pocket journal that I bought in Selfridges for writing notes and mainly planning blog posts. Then I also have a small note pad which I got from my Aunty that says niece on it. I then have a pencil case which isn't always in my bag but I had it in there this weekend. I also have a couple of pieces of homework and some leaflets and tickets from Harry Potter World in Watford.

I then have my iPod, phone charger, portable phone charger from Charming Charlie and one usb stick that has 4 different chargers on top which is perfect as is can charge my iPod, phone and anybody else's phone. I also have my earphones wrapped around a little fishbone squidgy thing I got recently which is really handy to prevent them getting tangled.

Then I have some tissues, grips, a burts bees original lip balm, rimmel moisture renew lipstick in nude delight and a mac lipstick in fanfare.

I then have a badge from the Harry Potter studios at Watford, a farmstand apple hand sanitizer from Bath and Body Works which is my favourite. A hello Breath spray, calming drops, pens, a lip vitamins lip balm and lots of Apple Hubba Bubba.

I then have my fake Michael Kors purse and a calculator to help me with the homework I was taking.

MAC's Pro-Longwear Concealer Review

When I was in London a couple of weeks ago, I bought this new concealer because I'd heard so much about it.

This is MAC's Pro Longwear concealer. It is quite high coverage but the thing thats unique about it is that is does not look cakey or like you're wearing too much makeup. It covers all of my blemishes and redness but it looks very natural still. I prefer not to use it under my eyes because it is quite a creamy texture and I prefer lighter concealers to blend under my eyes but it is great for blemishes.

This contains 9ML of product which is quite good and the packaging is great. It is a small glass container which does have a pump. My pumps quite stiff though so it does often pump out too much product but I find that it is alright and if I put the lid on, I can use the excess concealer another day. This retails at £17 which I think is a good price for the quality.

The best thing about this product is the colour range. Obviously MAC is very good at varying the shades it offers and much like any of the other foundations or concealers, this does have a wide selection. I am the colour NC20 which is a golden/olive undertone but still fairly pale.

I would 100% recommend this product and it is one of my favourite concealers.
